Is Westmark Right for Your Child?
Applicants to Westmark School must have average to high cognitive ability, with a primary diagnosis of one or more of the following language-based learning differences (LD): dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, auditory or visual processing disorder, other specific learning disability (SLD).
In addition, Westmark students may also have one or more of the following: attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), executive functioning disorder, mild anxiety, mild depression.
No school is right for every learning profile. Westmark does not specialize in educating students with a primary diagnosis of moderate-to-severe Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), lower cognitive functioning or intellectual disability, and/or emotional or behavioral challenges.
